Background

I've always had an interest in cosmetics since I was little. I loved to watch my mom do her makeup! I always marvelled at the difference makeup makes on a face. And so, years later, I decided to pursue this passion of beautifying faces ♥

In 2005, I enrolled into Top to Toe College of Cosmetology, graduated with an international diploma in Professional Makeup Artistry, and took home the awards for Best Creative Makeup and Top Thesis!

I believe that makeup should bring out your natural beauty. It should look like a second skin, present you with your best foot forward, and give your confidence that extra boost! That is what I strive to achieve when I work on faces :)

Ballerina Felicia

Felicia, LiJi - 2 June 08

Felicia and LiJi - 2 June 07

LiJi, Felicia - 2 June 08
Closer shot of Felicia.

This shoot was one of LiJi's inspirations... I just went along with it :) The makeup was kept natural-looking (except for the heavy blusher), not to take the attention away from the elaborate set decorations. But I suppose real dancers have very heavy stage makeup.

I loved the way Felicia's face just absorbed the makeup so well! You can't tell how heavy it is until you look at our little family photo xD
